Bridal Shower Cuties

One of my very best friends from high school is getting married!!! I'm so thrilled!!!

Of course this means wedding showers and cakes for me...

This time her sister and I wanted to do something different for her shower. We knew there would definitely be a cupcake tower, but decided it would be fun to add some cute little bra and panty cookies. I was able to find some great inspirational ideas on Pinterest!

I started with my go to Sugar Cookie dough that I modified to make them chocolate flavored. I rolled them out and cut the shape with my heart cookie cutter. They turned out great.

I think I ended up with about 15 little booties and 15 boobies. In the end:)

Next I baked all of my cupcakes.

After cool down they got their outline and were flooded so they could dry for decorating.

They all turned out really cute. Her color are gray, yellow and white. She was so surprised by the cookies. Every one loved the cupcakes and the cookies.

Another great success. The cupcake stand was a new acrylic one I found on Amazon. It was absolutely, beautiful and worked great. It went together quickly.

Note to self: Add a phillp head screwdriver to my cake kit for the cupcake stand. I ended up using a couple of plastic butter knifes. The stand wasn't as tight as I would have liked it to be. Next time I'll be sure to read the directions before I arrive to setup.:)
